Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometer (TIMS)

Thermo Scientific Triton Plus TIMS equipped with nine faraday cups, one center-channel SEM, and up to five 10^13 Ω amplifiers for analyzing small ion beams. The TIMS is housed in a purpose-built class 1000 temperature-controlled clean room with a pass-through to the trace metal clean lab. Validated methods include those for analysis of radiogenic Sr, Nd, and Pb isotopes.
